In December, 2020, The Privacy Act became law requiring New Zealand businesses to comply with Act.
The Privacy Act 2020 requires New Zealand Businesses that collect customer data to meet certain requirements- if you have a contact form on your website, payments options etc that collect any type of personal data, it is almost certain the Privacy Act applies to your business.

In May, 2021 we undertook a review of 150 random businesses across New Zealand and found evidence 77% of businesses reviewed were not complying with the Act.

And it is really important, not only because its the law & non-compliance can result in fines or worse, the damage to your business brand could be disastrous, and it's just simply the right thing to do- protect your customers data and their privacy.

Failure to comply can have serious consequences such as reputational brand damage, risk of fines and potentially criminal charges- protect your customers, your business and yourself today with help from our complimentary eBook.

We have designed an eBook and complimentary checklist to help business owners like you meet your requirements under the Privacy Act 2020.
